Region Meeting

22 January 2011 - contact Janice yhrep@saa.org.uk

Come to The Crown Inn, Monkfryston LS25 5DU and meet your Region Rep, discuss anything of concern, anything you want her to take to National Council on 29 January.

Region Weekend

14 + 15 May 2011 - contact Janice yhrep@saa.org.uk

This year it will be a joint extravaganza involving ourselves, North West Region, North East Region and Scotland - so should be even bigger and better than last year (and that was good). So get your gear tested and serviced and then come to Capernwray, get wet, up skill, be sociable and have a great weekend. As always - please let Janice know if you intend coming, it assists with planning. If you require any input or support from the Region for example use of the manikin, support from Open Water or Regional Instructors, Dive Leader lifts on manikin, anything at all, you must request the support or equipment from Janice in plenty of time, it is no good giving short notice or just turning up and expecting the facilities to be available - they won't be!

National Weekend

9 + 10 July 2011 - contact Janice yhrep@saa.org.uk

The NDO has arranged for Reps to join forces and either charter hardboats or bring Club RIBs together over the weekend of 9 + 10 July (chosen due to neap tides that weekend), so we have SAA divers diving right across the UK at the same weekend. Y+H Region has chartered a hardboat from Eyemouth for the 2 days and we all have fingers crossed for good weather. £30 deposit secures places. Contact Janice yhrep@saa.org.uk for further details.

NDO's Conference

12 November 2011 - contact admin@saa.org.uk

The 2011 NDO's Conference will be held at Carnforth, Lancs. Your chance to come and meet the SAA Executive, listen to quality speakers, and be involved in discussion with NDO on matters of concern and interest. Entrance is free to all SAA members. There is also the opportunity to dive at Capernwray on Sunday 13th (at own expense of course).

Course Dates

Please note - For all courses there is a cut off point of 1 month before the course date after which further applications may well not be accepted by the coordinator.
